Installing Konnect on PrestaShop

Use the Konnect Connector for PrestaShop to build an integration that allows you to accept payments in many countries. The connector integrates an embedded UI component that lets you accept multiple payment methods with a single integration and that comes with the following features:

  • Built-in conversion logic: Increase conversion by reducing user friction and errors with features such as address auto-complete, real-time card validation, descriptive error messages, and third-party auto-fill.
  • Authorize payments and capture later: Konnect supports separate card authorization and capture, which lets you collect card information, verify sufficient funds, and then capture the total amount after shipping.
  • Works with any device: Provide customers with a responsive checkout across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Before We Start

You'll need:

Install the connector

Log in to Admin Panel:

Go to ⁠yourshopurl.tn/admin and log in.

Access Modules Section:

In the left sidebar, click on “Modules” or “Modules & Services”. Select “Module Manager”.

Upload the Addon:

You can also install the connector manually. Download the zip file (opens in a new tab) and upload the module in the PrestaShop dashboard under Module Manager.

Click on “Upload a module”. Click “Choose file”, select the ZIP file for the payment gateway addon, and click “Upload this module”.

Install the Module:

After uploading, click the “Install” button next to the payment gateway.

Configure the Module:

Click the “Configure” button next to the installed module. Enter required settings (API keys, credentials, etc.) as per the addon documentation.

Test the Payment Gateway:

Enable test mode (if available). Perform a few test transactions to ensure it works correctly.

Go Live:

Switch the module from test mode to live mode once testing is successful.

Verify Functionality:

Check if payments are processing properly in your store’s frontend.

Testing It Out

Before going live, try a test purchase to make sure everything's working smoothly. Create a small test order and check if it shows up in both PrestaShop and your Konnect dashboard.
